We have an exciting role available for an
Entry Level
Civil Engineer
in our Doylestown, PA office
(open to a hybrid work-from-home schedule) . You will perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors in both office-based and field-based assignments.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
Engineer In Training license.
0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience.
Schooling and/or work experience in the following is a plus:
Hydrology and hydraulics
Erosion and sediment controls
Stormwater management controls
AutoCAD Civil 3D
ARCGIS
You will gain practical work experience including:
Preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans.
Hydrology and hydraulic drainage calculations.
Erosion and sediment control design.
Stormwater management design and calculations.
Post-Construction Stormwater Management design.
AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
Creating 3-D surfaces
Grading plans
Profiles/cross-sections
Pipe networks and corridors
Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals.
Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
