We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to support clients across a wide range of domestic relations matters while working remotely from Houston, Texas. This role is suited for a senior legal attorney who can take ownership of a busy caseload, provide thoughtful counsel during sensitive situations, and advocate effectively in and out of court. The attorney will manage matters from early case assessment through final outcome while maintaining strong client communication, sound judgment, and consistent productivity.Responsibilities:• Oversee a substantial portfolio of active family law matters independently, ensuring each case moves forward efficiently and in compliance with deadlines.• Guide clients through all phases of representation, from initial case evaluation and strategic planning to negotiated resolution or courtroom proceedings.• Advocate for clients in matters involving divorce, custody arrangements, support obligations, marital property disputes, and other domestic relations issues.• Prepare, analyze, and refine legal filings and case documents, including motions, discovery materials, settlement terms, and parenting-related agreements.• Appear for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials with thorough preparation and a clear litigation strategy.• Conduct legal research and apply relevant authority to develop practical, case-specific approaches that support client goals.• Negotiate with opposing counsel to pursue efficient and favorable outcomes while balancing legal risk and client priorities.• Maintain accurate records for case activity, timekeeping, communications, and critical deadlines in a fully remote practice environment.• Work closely with paralegals, case coordinators, and other legal team members to keep matters organized and progressing effectively.• Deliver responsive, compassionate client service while handling highly personal legal issues with professionalism and discretion.
